When the Editor saw an article headed ” Shark hauled up off Paphos” in the Cyprus Mail, he immediately thought of the Cyprus Informer article Beware of Property Sharks.
But it was a real shark where Egyptian fishermen had caught a large shark, 2.5 metres, called ‘Pambakas’. So we know what that shark must look like.

A man suspected of being part of the gang that stole £53 million from a Securitas depot in Tonbridge is thought to have fled to Cyprus – with tens of millions of pounds.
Sean Lupton, 47, is believed to have escaped with as much as £32m of the money, which was stolen on February 22, 2006.
The builder was originally arrested for conspiring to commit robbery, but was seen near Folkestone a few weeks later.
